Today was the assembly hosted by the Butte County Sheriff's Office about internet & social media safety. There were two sheriff's deputies who presented on topics from protecting private information to appropriate internet behavior. The DIS students had the opportunity to answer questions about their internet & gaming preferences as well as some of the online services that they are currently using. DUSD would like to thank the Butte County Sheriff's Office for their community involvement and teaching safe internet practices to our students.
