About Durham FFA and Ag
The DHS Ag department aims to embrace all aspects of agriculture and teach all students no matter their background that there is a place for them in agriculture and that it touches everyone’s daily life. We have several projects going on in the department at any given time. Some of our ongoing projects that we are working on are willow tree propagation, agriscience fair research, succulent propagation, vineyard production, expanding our floral department, raising livestock for the Silver Dollar fair and Butte County Fairs and raising greenhouse plants. We have students in several production agriculture internships in both the animal science and crop production industries
